はてなでは、GDPRに適合するよう、利用規約及びプライバシーポリシーの内容を確認し、一部の改定作業を進めており、2018年5月25日までに改定を行います。2018年5月25日以降にはてなをご利用いただいた場合、更新内容に同意いただいたものと見なします。変更点の概要は以下の通りです。
- 未成年ユーザーの登録時に保護者の同意を要することを利用規約に明記
- GDPRの適用対象ユーザーが権利行使する際の問い合わせ先を明記
また、GDPRへの適合とは異なりますが、以下の改定も加えております。
- 認定個人情報保護団体「一般社団法人 モバイル・コンテンツ・フォーラム」の対象事業者となったため、プライバシーポリシーにその旨の記述を追加

From May 25th, 2018, the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) will come into effect in the European Union (EU), with the goal of ensuring basic human rights around personal information. In applying this, we need to notify you, our users, of effects that this will have on our End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy, which we are doing in this email.
Our company is currently reviewing the contents of our End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy and partially revising it to comply with GDPR, and we will implement these changes by May 25th, 2018. If you continue to use our service after May 25th, 2018, we will take this as consent to the revised contents. The points that have been changed are outlined below:
- The End User License Agreement will clearly state that users who are minors require parental approval when signing up to our service.
- Contact details for users who are subject to GDPR and wish to exercise their rights will be clearly listed.
Additionally, the following revision is also being made, though it is not a matter of compliance with GDPR.
- A statement has been added to our Privacy Policy to the effect that we are now a target entity of "Mobile Content Forum (MCF)" an authorized personal information protection organization.

for release in summer 2013.
